Summer Fun

It's been a busy summer!  Since my last post we celebrated Pops's 60th birthday with a Chicago weekend extravaganza, celebrated John's first birthday (twice), took a trip to Indy, enjoyed being with Peter's parents and brother here in Chicago, and had a date with Kenny and Tim.  Along the way we've had lots of fun just enjoying our neighborhood and trying to beat the heat.  Here are some highlights:

We enrolled John this summer in a music class for "crawlers" this summer at Bubbles Academy, aka "Baby Heaven."  The class is held once a week on Saturdays, and John loves it (and so do we).  It's a ton of fun and the teachers are so great.

Summer Fun with Friends

In June we spent a weekend in Indianapolis and met up with my high school friends Amy and Christie and their families for a barbecue and some pool time.  Between the three of us, we have five boys 3 and under - Ben, Sam, Charlie, Nick and John!  It was so fun catching up and having all of our boys be together by the pool we all used to swim in as teenagers!

Not to brag, but it's really pretty great to come home to this guy every day.
